JNC Role

Katie’s Operational role in summary is overseeing JNCs daily business activities. She is responsible for managing JNCs resources, developing and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively. Katie’s finance role is both operational and strategic in maintaining the growth of JNCs financial health. This consists of account management and financial control as well as establishing a financial strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business. Katie’s HR role is to develop and implement HR policies with the main goal of ensuring that the workforce runs smoothly, building a healthy work environment and to remain cost-effective. Katie’s professional and determined presence shines throughout the company and this reflects in our daily operations - always striving for success, with the focus of continuing to improve in all aspects of the company.

Katie brings 14 years of Operational experience to the company. Working as a Programme Manager for a European Standardisation company in Brussels for 9 years. Her main role and responsibilities consisted of the delivery of the Publication EU standards (EN) throughout Europe and the resource and performance management of the Publications Unit. Katie has also worked closely with the Technical Committees who draft the EU standards as well as the International Standards Organisation partner (ISO). This experience has been expended in JNC with building relationships in partner organisations and with a vast number of clients across the globe.

Alex has seven years’ experience as a senior License Measurementor at SAP SE, responsible primarily for customers in The Netherlands including some of the world's largest Fortune 500 corporations. Alex advises on all aspects of SAP product selection, benchmarking. In addition, measurement processes and systems, advising the measurement business team on complex licensing scenarios. Alex established himself as a go-to person on complex licensing scenarios, legacy contracts, indirect access, measurement evaluation and practical aspects of standard measurements.

My experience extends to performing in-depth analysis work with clients, having strong account intelligence and detailed knowledge of their IT landscape and how it fits within their business process. Drawing up the relevant information and understanding the key requirements of the client and conducting measurement simulations on relevant systems to identify assets and cross check against entitlement.

I have extensive experience within IT measurement, Financial Services, Sales and Project Management. This has enabled me to drive and support blue chip clients to ensure the usage of IT is running compliantly and securely whilst still pursuing their business goals. With strong experience with working with Clients to identify appropriate restrictions, limitations and how it affects the business’ future functionality and future IT roadmap. Rhys was formerly a License Compliance & Measurement Manager for the UK at SAP. Responsible for implementing a new process for how SAP measurement their customers. Managing all measurements across UKI and supporting from a technical and commercial perspective. Worked on measurements across all industries putting unique methods in place to make sure measurements are carried out as effectively as possible, measurements carried out for numerous solutions including SAP ERP, BusinessObjects and Sybase.

Ryan is today successfully leading and managing a GRC 10.1 > 12.0 migration project for a public services company in Belgium. On top of Ryan responsibilities, he also heads JNC business tooling developments as well as strategizing, identifying and refining business processes using detailed analysis and project management initiatives to ensure the organisation runs optimally.

Ryan was former SAP & Financial Systems Analyst and responsible for project leading, business support and SAP implementations. Lead analyst SAP Security & Authorisation, Ryan was also given the responsibility for lead support on implementation/data migration projects; he is also accountable for managing, obtaining and delivering ongoing business changes. One of his major achievements within his career had been managing a SAP license measurement project which had benefited several clients saving and risk mitigating in the regions of circa £100k - £10M per year on SAP licenses.

Becki can translate complicated licensing analysis into a format that is easy to understand, for those with different levels of technical understanding within an organisation.

Becki is an SAP licensing Consultant with a deep understanding of SAM process. She is able to recognise how this process can impact your ultimate compliance position. She has experience working with numerous customers in varying sizes, from global corporations to governmental bodies. Becki has experience with Classic ECC, S/4HANA, Indirect Access, Sybase and BusinessObjects licensing scenarios, and has advised in collaboration with third party consultancy firms to ensure an optimal outcome for the customer. Martin is JNC’s data analyst that focuses on creation of analytics tools for consultants. His focus is on tools that can be used universally by processing data from any SAP system and provide secure way to analyse client’s data without exposing it to external vulnerabilities and data privacy breach. Martin’s focus is primarily SAP user licence and usage analysis . Preferred coding languages are VBA and Python used alongside SQL.

Martin worked for Deutsche Telekom’s Business Services Europe as SAP HR specialist and trainer where he trained employees in using SAP HCM module and related technical skills. Later he worked for Dyson as SAP Master Data Development Analyst, where he programmed various tools for automation of operational and reporting tasks. Martin has experience working with relational databases and performing qualitative and quantitative research for academic and commercial purposes. Martin is interested in data prep, data analysis, automation and due to his fondness of statistics, he would like to implement machine learning.

Maia has spent her time at JNC working directly with the senior consultants to enhance her knowledge and understanding of the subject of SAP. Maia has also worked with clients directly to create Bills of Materials, this helps the consultants and the clients themselves to understand what products they are entitled to, this is used to check if what they are entitled to matches what licenses they are currently using.

Maia has spent the last three years studying both law and business at college. Studying law she learnt both family and commercial business law, then going on to study business, understanding the knowledge of the business sector, with emphasis on developing relevant roles to the workplace, also developing marketing skills.

Will started his career as a reconnaissance soldier in the HM Forces (2011 to 2016), managing small teams to complete their objectives in difficult environments. After the military, Will trained to be a teacher at the University of Worcester and he later studied Criminology where he identified an interest in law and cybercrime. Has been a member of JNC since 2018.
